Bassett Mechanical is proud to announce that our team of Mechanical Contracting associates passed final examination for the ANSI/IIAR 2-2014 Standard for Safe Design of Closed-Circuit Ammonia Refrigeration Systems Certificate Program as part of the IIAR Academy of Natural Refrigerants. Our team of 12 associates went through eight required training sessions and preparatory tests prior to taking the comprehensive examination at the 2017 IIAR Natural Refrigeration Conference & Heavy Equipment Expo in San Antonio, TX. The IIAR 2 Certificate Program is the first of many training programs being developed by IIAR under its new Academy of Natural Refrigerants. The purpose of the Certificate Program is to provide an impartial means to verify mastery of the refrigeration industry’s best practices and standards. It is notable that the first Certificate Program focused on safe design, an attribute that is consistent with IIAR’s mission, Bassett’s core values and the essential requirements of our customers.
Bassett Mechanical’s long history of providing our customers knowledge and experience to ensure the successful engineering and construction of industrial refrigeration systems is complemented by our involvement in the IIAR Academy of Natural Refrigerants. IIAR Certificate attainment demonstrates Bassett’s proactive engagement to understand the evolving industry standards, best practices, regulations and codes.
Working with a Mechanical Contractor whose team of engineers hold the ANSI/IIAR 2-2014 Certificate credentials is especially important for facility owners, as they are responsible for the safety of their facility and the impact of safe design practices in the community. The recognition of our Certificate Program achievements, by regulators and end users, takes Bassett’s promise of providing unparalleled experience in designing, fabricating and installing ammonia refrigeration systems to a new level. With over 80 years of experience and dedication to continuing education, we know what it takes to build your system for safe, efficient and problem-free operation.
