The IIAR (International Institute of All-Natural Refrigeration) Natural Refrigeration Conference and Heavy Equipment Expo was held last month in Orlando, FL. The expo is the largest exposition dedicated to the natural refrigeration industry and serves as a beacon for professionals immersed in the ever-evolving field of natural refrigeration. Bassett Mechanical was an exhibitor and sponsor of the conference. We sent 12 associates to the conference, including engineers, business development, marketing, and metal fabrication. In addition, we utilized an Oculus headset to provide an immersive virtual reality experience, allowing users to explore and understand the functions of an ammonia refrigeration system in a captivating and interactive manner.
During the 3-day conference and expo participants immerse themselves in workshops and seminars covering diverse topics, from CO2 refrigeration to sustainable solutions to regulatory compliance. The conference also allows associates to receive Professional Development Hours (PDH) and Continuing Education Credits. Armed with fresh perspectives and strengthened networks, associates return to their roles, poised to implement transformative solutions and drive positive change at Bassett.
Several associates also serve on IIAR committees:
• Compliance Committee – Ryan M., Director of PSM Services
• CO2 Committee – Rich B., Senior Director of Refrigeration Solutions
• Marketing Committee – Kari S., Sr. Marketing Generalist
• Education Committee – Tim C., Director of Thermatech Product Solutions & Ryan Y., Refrigeration Sales Engineer
• Piping Committee – Paul K., Vice President of Refrigeration Solutions & Dan G., Refrigeration Product Engineer
• Standards Committee – Chuck C., Refrigeration Sales Engineer
